CNC Ultrafine Particle Counter                                         Model 3851

PRINCIPLE:
Ultrafine airborne particles under 0.1um in cleanrooms cannot be detected by ordinary light-scattering particle counters.  To detect such small size particles, we have developed Condensation Nucleus Counter or CNC.  The CNC detects sub-0.1um particles by enlarging the particles with alcohol vapor.  The particles enlarge by going through supersaturated conditions formed by compulsion mixing of sampled air and high temperature alcohol vapor.

The CNC can measure and verify the particle levels within a short time, even in lean concentration environment in cleanrooms.  Thanks to its higher sampling rate.
