Business Development Representative – Job Description

Main Job Functions

  • Develop new customer accounts and new channel partners.
  • Coordinate and manage existing accounts and channel partners and implement sales strategies to drive sales revenue of the Kanomax products and maximize profits for Kanomax USA.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales Target: Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Channel Management: Effectively maximize existing channel partners and develop new partners to increase Kanomax product exposure and end user reach.
  • Customers: Develop and maintain relationships with key end users.
  • Application Support: Guide the design of application using Kanomax products.
  • Sales Forecast: Report sales forecast and develop sales quotas; projecting expected sales volume and profit at product line level.
  • Maintain sales channel by selecting, orienting, and training distributor and regional sales rep.
  • Marketing: Work closely with Marketing in developing marketing and sales campaigns to effectively reach key end users directly or through channel.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies and trade shows; attending technical seminars and conferences.
  • Collaborate with Kanomax team members to establish a positive work environment for all.
  • Performs other tasks and special projects as requested.

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable scientific or/and engineering field is desirable.
  • Minimum 3 year experience in B2B sales and marketing for industrial equipment or/and parts for manufacturers or/and assemblers.
  • Comprehension of selling industrial product and after-sales service.
  • Strong communicator with end-users and distributor to build business relationship.
  • Experience developing and maintaining operating budgets and effective sales strategies.
  • Domestic and international (mainly Canada) travel requirements, up to 50% of working time.


  • This position is subject for local hiring, working at Kanomax USA Andover office.
  • Travel requirement is maximum 50% of working time.
  • Travel expense is paid or reimbursed by Kanomax USA per business trip.
  • There is no company car at Andover office.
